ZPL II AdVenta now supports ZPL-II label language for barcoding printers. Get your barcode printer today, and barcode your inventory. AdVenta, traditionally,  also support Eltron formats.
POP file A pop file is a file that contains the hexadecimal equivalence of a sequence that will pop a cash drawer. This file is usually located in the POSHOME folder. There may be several POP files present for dual cash drawers. Example: DRAWER1.POP or DRAWER2.POP In essence this is like having a driver for the current drawer configuration. By removing the obfuscation and complexity associated with drivers, this approach of having external files serve as drivers, makes it extremely easy to setup, debug and maintain the AdVenta software.
CUT file A cut file is a file that contains the hexadecimal equivalence of a sequence that will transmit the cut command to a cutting receipt printer. This file is usually located in the POSHOME folder. Example: PRINTER.CUT
SKU Note AdVenta is not a SKU based system. AdVenta is Extended-SKU (ESKU) based. Internally, inventory items are not represented by a SKU, but rather by internal classifications of which the SKU may be a part of. Separate bar-codes may be assigned to the item as well. This methodology makes it extremely easy to maintain matrices of product, size, color and style.
